Montessori Christian Academy is nestled on 1.25 acres.  This allows us to have anextensive outdoor environment.   Children
plant and tend to their gardens.  They grow their own vegetables and fruit.  In the outdoor environment children learn to get in
touch with nature.  They create their own mulch, recycle water, study the forces of nature, read under a tree and much more.
Here children can learn about the carbon blueprint we leave behind and find a way to replace what we take.  They might pick a
fruit for juicing or a nut for cracking.  The outdoor environment is a farm like setting that creates and inspires children's natural
curiosity for life and living things. Children have a natural sense of wonder for living things.  The outdoor environment allows
them to do observations of nature and draw their own conclusions. Respect for all living things is instilled within the children and
it is through their own exploration that find that all things in nature work together and it is their job to make sure we give back to
    what was given to us.
